Lawrence PierceFor Mayor of Jackson, TN

From Memphis to Jackson

Lawrence Pierce was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, where he learned the value of hard work and family. Two decades ago, he chose Jackson as his home — and he has spent the last 20 years living, working, and investing in this community.

As the legacy business owner of Pierce on Main, Lawrence has seen firsthand what Jackson entrepreneurs and working families need to thrive. He has served on local boards, mentored young professionals, supported neighborhood initiatives, and built relationships across every part of the city. He knows Jackson not just as a resident, but as a business owner who has put his own name and reputation on the line for this community.

Why He Is Running

Lawrence is running for Mayor because he believes Jackson can be a city where small businesses grow, working families get ahead, and every neighborhood — north, south, east, and west — has a fair shot at success. After 20 years of investing in this city, he is ready to put that experience to work for all of Jackson.

He knows the challenges business owners face, the concerns parents share, and the pride long-time residents feel. As Mayor, he will govern with the same open door, straight talk, and steady hand that have defined his time as a business owner and community advocate.
